Hartford, CT — February 20 — Annual Meeting and Hootenanny hosted by the New CT Farmer Alliance
6 - 10 p.m. at The Dirt Salon
The evening will include live music, delicious local food, CT craft beer, opportunities to meet other farmers, and The Cabbage Moth Radio Hour, a casual time to tell stories and have the chance to win a pair of tickets to an upcoming WNPR show. Forestville, CA — February 20 — The Farmers Guild-Raising
9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. at Shone Farm
Agrarian communities from across California converge in Sonoma County to re-envision our food system. We call upon you, farmers and good food advocates alike, to come forge local solutions to our agricultural and food system challenges and return home with new connections, tools, and inspiration to enhance your farm and empower your community. Workshops all day, keynote presentation by Paul Kaiser of Singing Frogs Farm. The day will conclude with the Agrarian Lovers Ball. The Up Up Farm Film Festival will take place the following day. Asheville, NC — February 20 — Young Farmer Mixer hosted by WNCYFC
7 p.m. at Burial Beer Co.
Come meet other young farmers in WNC and learn more about the National Young Farmers Coalition’s student loan forgiveness campaign for farmers. We’ll be meeting after ASAP’s Business of Farming Conference wraps up.

La Crosse, WI — February 25-27 — 27th annual Moses Organic Farming Conference
This is the largest event in the U.S. about organic and sustainable farming. NYFC will be tabling in the upper level concourse. Land Access Program Director, Holly Rippon-Butler, will co-host a land access roundtable from 12:30 - 1:15 p.m. on Friday and present a workshop on "Financing and Creative Land Options" from3:30-5 p.m. on Friday. NYFC and the Land Stewardship Project are working together to better understand land access, in the Midwest and we want to hear from you. Share your land access challenges, successes, and suggestions—what has worked, what hasn't, and where we can make policy and program changes that will help. More info.

Columbus, GA — February 26-27 — Georgia Organics Conference and Expo
The conference is one of the largest sustainable agriculture expos in the South, attracting farmers, health advocates, gardeners, parents, DIYers, and everyone in-between who cares about healthy foods, farms and families. More info.

Providence, RI — February 29, March 7 and March 14 — Farmer Short Course: MACHINE SMARTS, Part 1
3 - 5 p.m. or 6-8 p.m. at 186 Carpenter St.
Small engine mechanics three session working group. With Carl Sawyer of URI as our fearless and endlessly wise leader, we will look at components and operation of single-cylinder, air-cooled, four-stroke, and two stroke engines. We'll take apart engines together and put them back together. Maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs will be discussed. More info.

Greenwich, NY — March 3 — Second Annual Farmer Mixer
5:30 pm at the Old Station Inn, 65 Bleeker Street
NYFC and the Agricultural Stewardship Association are hosting a second annual farmer mixer for the Upper Hudson Young Farmers Network. The event is a potluck and the Old Station Inn will have beer on tap.

Bristol RI — March 9 — Farmer Storytelling: Disasters
6 - 8:30 p.m. at Mt Hope Farm
The RI Food Policy Council, Mt Hope Farm, and YFN are hosting an evening of Farmer Storytelling: Disasters. Dinner will be served. More info.

Gunnison, CO — March 11 — Vision Course for Aspiring Farmers and Ranchers & Farmer/Land Access Training
8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at CSU Extension, 275 S. Spruce St.

Co-hosted by Guidestone Colorado and NYFC. NYFC will present an afternoon workshop on partnering with land trusts and other tools for securing land access. The training will be followed by a farmer mixer at a local brewery and will precede the Annual Colorado Land Link Forum.

Gunnison, CO — March 12 — Annual Colorado Land Link Forum
Western State Colorado University, 600 N. Adams St.

The forum is a place for the next generation of farmers and ranchers, service providers, conservation professionals, and landowners to explore land access strategies for new farmers. More info to come.

Denver, CO — March 19 — Front Range Beginning Farmers Conference

Millville, MN — March 19 — Land Access Forum
The Land Stewardship Project will host a lunch and discussion for farmers followed by an optional farm tour at a nearby vegetable farm to talk about land access challenges, successes, and suggestions for change. Des Moines, IA — March 31 — Land Access Forum
